Aussies amongst the loot
By Matt Cenin for cricket.com.au
With all the hussle and bustle, wheeling and dealing of the IPL auction overnight, all the Australian players have come out with second homes in India for 44-days of the year and much better healthier bank balances.
Andrew Symonds' flamboyant style and all-round cricketing skills made him Australia's MVP, with the Queenslander pick-up by Hyderabad for a cool A$1.47 million.
However, the star Australian trade and possibly, considering his recent Victorian form, the value buy of the auction was VB Bushranger David Hussey who went to Kolkata for a lazy A$740,000.
