Fingers crossed a few more Illawarra bowlers get on board.

And some Campbelltown bowlers too john as its just a 45 min drive up the road from us. Im sure once the distraction of xmas is out of the road we'll be fine. Unsure when it will finish I heard the Campbelltown 9 no tap tournament went into the morning so assume this might also, anyone travelling and wanting some accommodation for the night can check out Mittagong RSL which is approx under 1km away from the centre.

This is the weekend of the first state league round so that might not help.

Quite a strong field, this event should be great.

Certainly is john good to see the support for this tournament. Highlands has hosted many in house & centre challenge tournaments and also a country cup challenge but this is the first open invitational event they have done. They will also have an open singles tournament in June, this is already in the planning with securing sponsorship to have a big prize pool to entice bowlers.

Ok , nearly 1 week away so have some info for all bowlers competing in this tournament
- Check in time is 8pm
- After all bowlers are checked in teams will randomly be selected their lanes by computer, teams will move lanes every two games , whoever is on the odd numbered lanes move left, even numbered lanes move right
- Roll off to begin at 9pm sharp.
- Pattern is a normal house shot ( lanes are amf synthetic surface)
- No strict dress regulations but bowlers should be of neat appearance.
- Tournament director is Diane McAusland assisted by Tashi Heafod.
- Cafe will be open during the tournament and is also licensed.
- Pair of Trophies for the winners will also be presented on the night.
