Format of Lane Draws???

Ive just bowled in the gympie total bowling wide bay tournament and....
How's this for a lane draw....

9&10, 9&10, 1&2, 11&12, 9&10.

And then tomorrow... a little better....
1&2, 5&6, 7&8.

What ever happened to Odds to the Left, Evens to the right????

What would you think if you got this lane draw???

Should there be a format for tournament lane draws, so that you get to bowl on majority of the centres lanes, not 3 for the 10 games.....

Without knowing the specifics, sometimes it has to work out funny, particularly if you have a small division you're trying to keep together.

You should've seen me tearing my hair out for our Rachuig trials the other year, only enough bowlers to need two pairs, and for 8 games of head to head it's hard to mix it up much on two pairs.
