In the Men's, Rhyss Jones started off strongly in the Final throwing the first 5 strikes to take an early lead. Tony finished strongly with the final 6 strikes to force Rhyss to strke in tenth which he calmly did to take the Title, 256-240.
In the earlier matches, Darcy Fox who rolled well to make the stepladder, played a hard fought match against Adam Hayward. He edged out Adam over the concluding frames to win 205-181 to go on to face Tony Hamilton in the Semi-Final.
Darcy rolled well in the semi but found the pace set by Tony a little too hot to handle. Eventually losing 257-188.
