Nah Feral it was actually the 2004 event that was supposed to be held in March this year - the event is usually held early in the following year now.
Unfortunately minutes before the tournament was due to begin at Moonah back in March, the computer scoring completely died, sending sparks all over the place down the back.
Luckily it happened then and there, a couple of hours earlier and our lovely renovated centre more than likely would've been charcoaled to buggery.
The most conveniant time to re-schedule the event for after the cancellation was whenever this tournament was bowled.

My sincerest etc Tiger. U r right - we couldn't bowl much good on charcoal (the roofing iron might get in the way!!!). N e way, better L8 than never. Looking forward to catching up with u next October, complete with a Boags.

No worries. According to a couple of rumblings I heard from players in that tournament, charcoal and roofing iron would've been better to play on, especially if you were a righty...LOL But I wasn't there, didn't see it.
