H.T.B.A bowler of the year 2008

Last night was the running of the 2008 H.T.B.A bowler of the year held at Moonah Bowl.
The tournament was played over 6 games with 4 divisions and each winner taking home $200 plus a shirt and the title of bowler of the year.

As you can see the scoring was high with some great games bowled during the night and a Perfect 300 bowled by Paul Lucock in Game 5.

Congrats on the 300 too, was that sanctioned or not?

Wouldn't have minded having a ping in that but for the timing of it (oh and I've currently got no gear anyway regardless), must admit though it's step in the right direction holding it of a night instead of a Sunday arvo.
Honest question, did you get more players and people watching rather than the tired old Sunday arvo format?
