FUN TOURNAMENT, Sunday 31st August at Village Bowl
6 games, total pinfall including handicap, cut to highest 16 for finals - which will be best of 3 elimination ie 16th x 1st, 15th x 2nd, 14th x 3rd etc. Then winner 16th x 1st v winner 8th x 7th & etc etc. And so forth until we have a final.
Entry Fee: $70.00 per bowler (based on a minimum 60 bowlers), Prize Pool: $500.00, $350.00, $250.00, $200.00, $190.00, $180.00, $170.00, $160.00, $150.00, $140.00, $130.00, $120.00, $110.00, $100.00, $90.00, $80.00 - that way everybody who cuts will make at least a few dollars.
This tournament will not be sanctioned and will be a fun tournament. Each new game will start every 45 mins (playing 3 to a lane, maybe 5 to a pair), therefore should leave about 10 mins after each game until the next one starts, gives people time to go outside for a smoke, go to the bar to buy a drink - alcohol IS permitted & encouraged. Dress is casual, as long as it is presentable, therefore trackies, jeans, shorts etc are all good. People can actually enjoy their day - that is the whole key to it.
A break after 4 games for 30 mins, at which time we will provide a FREE sausage sizzle. All going to plan, we will have a lot of very relaxed, happy bowlers who have had a great day, & be all over by around 3:30pm.
For those who book early, you will be able to nominate your own group to play together during the day, making it even more fun.
Payment IN FULL for your entry is required by 31st July. Part payments per week are acceptable if that will help, as long as paid in full by that date.

Please also pass this information on to your friends and team-mates, the more people who enter - the better the prize fund (all additional entry fees, minus lineage, goes into the prize pool in which case we will either pay lower, pay more prizemoney per placing, or maybe even both).
If the tournament gets good support, we will look at running these on a regular basis.
