Angelo Nucifora takes Cairns Open.

Just got back from Cairns, and I'll put up the full scores tomorrow, but this years Stocklands Cairns Open was a one horse race from game 1. Angelo Nucifora from the Burdekin won by over 300 sticks, averaging 217 for the matchplay. Steve 'Teletubby' Hunt was the only other bowler over the card, second on 20- something. Third was local lefty Peter Bryant, just in front of Trent Bosel. Huge effort from top lady Kate Murry from Townsville, finishing fifth overall.
I cut, then bowled crap. Oh well.

Best laid plans, and all that - I have lost the standing sheets somewhere. If they turn up, I'll post them (better late than never) otherwise they will (eventually) be posted on the cairns association website.
