2012 AMF ILLAWARRA CHRISTMAS FUN TOURNAMENT
This year, I am trying to organise 3 mini-tournaments to bowl for anybody who is interested. They are all designed as a bit of fun and they all offer very unique formats. You have the option of entering all 3 tournaments or only 1 or 2 of them. You just have to let me know what you would be interested in
1) 2-GAME FUN TOURNAMENT
TIME: 10 AM CHECK-IN FOR A 10:30 AM START
COST: $18.00
FORMAT: Bowlers will bowl 2 games with varying formats. Game 1 will be a normal, open play game. Game 2 will be 9 no-tap. The person who manages to bowl the highest 2-game total including handicap (80% of 200) will be declared the winner of this events. (NOTE: Averages for handicaps must be your highest average from an established league and as of November 30th, 2012; no minuses will be in place for this tournament, so bowlers averaging over 200 will have a 0 handicap). In the event of a tie for 1st place, a one-ball roll-off will be used until the tie is broken in order to determine the winner.

3rd: $20.00
2) ROWEY'S TRICKSHOT CHALLENGE
TIME: 11:30 AM CHECK-IN FOR A 12 PM START
COST: $11.00
FORMAT: I have designed 10 trickshots for this event, as well as a points system. All bowlers have to attempt 5 trickshots from the list of 10. You can only attempt each trickshot once. NOTE: Bonus points are available for one of the trickshots. The winner of this event will be the person who manages to get the most trickshot points. In the event of a tie for this events, a trickshot roll-off will be used until a winner is determined. The winner of this event takes home all of the money, so it is important to choose wisely when picking which trickshots to attempt. The list of trickshots are as follows:

10) TOWEL SHOT - Bowlers attempt to bowl by holding a bowling ball in a towel and rolling it out of the towel in order to get a strike) - 100 points for successful conversion

3) ROWEY'S MINI-ELIMINATOR
TIME: 12:30 PM CHECK-IN FOR A 1 PM START
COST: $11.00
FORMAT: The name of the game is simple: bowl the highest ball out of everybody else to stay in the game. If you match the highest ball bowled, you also stay in the game. The winner of this game will be the person who manages to survive until the very end. The winner of this game will also take home all the money, so it's an all-in shootout!
PRIZEFUND: 1st Place (Based on 20 bowlers): $110.00
