2013 Launceston Adult Championships

Due to the tournament calendar being so congested in the middle of the year, the LTBA have decided to move the Launceston Adult Championships to the 9th & 10th February.

Championship squads on the Saturday start at 10 am with the last squad at 4.30pm. The very popular teams squad is at 2.30pm with lucky door and other cash prizes to be won during the squad.

On Sunday, there is a Masters qualifying squad at 9 am with the Open & Restricted Masters Finals to start at 10.15 am.

Results from the Launceston Masters are attached.

In the Open Masters, Hayden George averaged 212 to successfully defend his 2012 title by defeating Ashley Riley by 69 pins. Rebecca Walker bowled consistently to average 195 and finish 88 pins in front of Anne-Louise Renshaw.

In the Restricted final, Shane Durrant on the back of a 238 in game 4, held on to win the final by 4 pins from Glenn Gibbons. The ladies final saw AJ Groves win her first singles tournament with a 48 pin win over the defending champion Caroline Howard.
