Launceston Masters

The Launceston Masters completed what was a very successful Launceston Championships over the weekend with entries well above previous years figures.

Paul Lucock opened with a 279 game to lead all the way to win the Mens Masters. Anne-Louise Potter bowled very consistently on the difficult lane conditions in the ten game final to snatch a narrow 8 pin victory from Debbie Riley in the Ladies Masters.

The Mens Restricted Cup final was a very close contest with Garry Lee taking out the title by 5 pins from Simon Deane. In the ladies final, Donna Martin jumped to an early lead with a great 222 game in game 3 and then held on to defeat a fast finishing Kathy Crick by 11 pins.
