Gee, umm, thanks Alli.... I guess I have to pay up now :p

Congrats to all the guys and girls that will be putting on the socks and representing WA for shield in 2005 :D

Especially to Matt, Gazz, Mitch Edom and Macho on making the squad -- knew you 4 would be in there. And to the little surprise packet (well in my opinion at least) in Sleepy Ireland haha :p
Also to Alli too... knew you had it in you to top it, otherwise I wouldn't have made that bet with you in the first place!

Congrats again to all the boys and girls! :D:D:D

The committee picks the captains. Sometimes they ask the bowlers in a SECRET VOTE (hehe) to see who they would like to be captain. but in the end its up to the committee.

I agree that 2 of those 3 would be good for captain. Macho would be a pretty good pick for it as well.

Alli definitely for the girls job. She seems to bring it out for the big occasions :D

will the captains be known as the most popular ones in the team?? n that everyone all likes or what
cheers
emma

emma

its not necesarily the most popular ones in the team who get picked as captains. They are based on the decision of the comitee and who they think will be the best leaders in the group.

as adrian said earlier, the comitee and coaches do ask the bowlers who they think will captain the team well but it is essentially the decision of the comitee.

yeah i reckon gazza or mitch edom would be ideal for the job. macho had his in gold cup and the role didnt really fit him well. but definately mitch or gaz.

alli or simmo for girls but most likely alli :D

yeah but i was popular this year... thats why i got it hehe.

no just kidding, it also comes down to who has shield experience and so forth.

who is the most popular guy and girl in the team???
and
who is most exp in girls and guys??

so many questions... i dont think there is a popular one among the team, everyone is pretty equal, But most experience is ben and allison, with 2005 shield being their 3rd each.

When they were at fairlanes i heard someone say that Allison is only 15?? It that is true??

With 3 sheilds under her belt she has a bright future with all this experience she is getting!!
