A number of league bowlers have probably noticed flyers at your local centre
advertising a First Prize of $10,000.00 with Monthly Prizes of $1,000.00.
This is based on 200 entries per month & 10 months competition.
I've started this thread to see if this can generate further interest.
I'm in the comp myself but they have a lack of numbers at the moment.
Entry fee is $25.00 per month using a nominated league using your highest game score. You can enter for as many leagues as you bowl in. Every week you enter your best game scratch. At the end of the month you will have entered 4 games. The person with the highest tally for the month is the winner of the $1,000.00 prize. If pin fall is tied, the winner will be declared on a count back. If scores are identical then monthly money is split & those bowlers will participate at the end of the year for the first prize.
The same person can win the monthly prize of $1,000.00 but once you have qualified for the yearly event the person with the second highest tally will be declared the monthly winner & particpate in the yearly play off but will not collect the monthly $1,000.00 prize.
If you bowl in 3 different leagues per week, you can enter up to 3 times per month at a cost of $25 per entry/per league. The 4 games entered must be from the same league bowled. If a 5 week month occurs, you have the choice of your first or second week scores. As week 1 score, remember entry fee must be in by the 7th day of the month. Quoting your membership number, your 4 game scores must be in by the 7th day of the month.
All scores must be from league night, no pre or post bowling scores allowed.
The monthly winners will then play off over 10 games for the $10,000.00 first prize. If a tie exists after the 10 games, the tied players will complete a further game & so on until the eventual winner is declared.
The competition will start from 1st February 2007 and conclude on the 30th November 2007. The final play off will be held on Sunday 16th December 2007 at AMF Sunshine. Register for your membership number on line at

The $25 monthly fee must be in prior to the 7th day of each month or pay however many months you wish to particpate for. eg:March 2007 to November 2007 would be $225.00. Winners will be notified by e-mail/phone.
