I'm still standin'
On behalf of TBAQ, and the Queensland Adult committee, I would like to personally thank all those bowlers whose committment to Queensland bowling saw them make the trek to Mackay to compete this weekend. The sportsmanship that you showed on the lanes was exemplary, and is indicative of the strength of character that Queensland bowlers possess. 
Thank you also to Sue and her staff at the Mackay Leisure Centre - the front counter staff, the canteen staff and the guys down the back. Top notch service on all fronts, which made the whole process a lot easier for us - well done.
Finally, to Brian Bates - Brian stepped up to the plate to act as sole Queensland selector when circumstances changed last minute and our original selectors were unavailable to attend the roll off. We all know that a selectors task is not easy, but when there is only one bunny, it is even harder! Thank you for taking on the role, and handling it with the professionalism and diligence with which you did.
Overall it was a good weekend, and a pleasure to be a part of - thank you all once again!
