At the conclusion of bowling on day 1, Jason is 33rd on 1218 for his first 6 games (203 avg), a mere 12 pins behind George Frilingos from Australia but trailing leader Michael Schmidt from Germany by 195 pins. The cut to the top 24 currently sits at 1258, so Jason is only 40 pins away.

In the ladies division, Belinda has shot 1133 for her 6 games and is in 25th place, only 2 pins off the cut to the top 24. Hellen Johnston from Sweden is leading with 1341.

Well done so far guys, keep up the good effort.

Congrads to both Jason and Belinda for performing creditably in this year's World Cup. Jason finished 27th with a 206 average, only 60odd pins away from the top 24. And in a much tighter finish Belinda ended up 29th in the ladies with a 189 average, only 30odd pins away from the top 24.

Well done to both of you, you can be proud of your achievements. Especially Jason who beat the Australian rep George Frilingos by 100odd pins.
