Graham,
from what we saw, the event seemed to be well organised, there were no lane breakdowns, and despite there being 2 to a lane in the second squad, the pace was good.
However, it would have been nice if ALL the bowlers who cashed could have had their money, be it in cash or cheque, at the presentation at the end

...and not just the top 14. Surely for a "oncer", AMF could have allowed the centre to either have a little excess cash in the safe, or better still, someone could have signed the 30 cheques required for placegetters, and they could have been filled out once the results were known. This is, of course, just my opinion, but it seems only fair that if you have to pay to enter, and you are lucky enough to cash, then you should be able to take payment home with you at the end of the day, and not told that your cheque is in the mail. Mary has over a 100 bowlers in her tournies, and nobody waits for payment there!!!!
but like I said, just my opinion. That aside, it was still a good tournie to watch.
