All 2 handed bowlers start with 2 fingers in the ball... They dont have holes drilled for left and right hands... As for my point... See above...

My point is that one handed bowlers use their non bowling hand to support the ball... This was in response to the statement that centre of grip for a 2 handed bowler should be between the 2 hands on the ball...

How many one handed bowlers start their approach with only their bowling hand in the ball and their other hand/ arm by their side?

The only ones that I hear complaining about patterns are some of the seniors... More so the ones who don't want to learn how to bowl on tougher conditions. I don't hear the juniors piping up saying "We're only learning, make it easier for us", instead they practice on these patterns and learn...

If you had the cg in the bridge of your fingers you wouldn't need a balance hole and if no thumb was drilled would that then mean it's 3oz top or 1 oz top max. Also most balls out of the box have between 2.5-3.5oz top weight... If no holes are drilled, how can one manage to get top weight less...

Ì find it amusing that with all the talk of ditches and that it's easier to score that no one within this fine country of ours has bowled a 900. It would interesting to know what the highest league average is in Australia... But I'll ask that in another thread. Please don't take this as me...

I hear a lot of the older bowlers talking about the good old days... How bowling was better and how the evolution of bowling through the late 90's and the naughties has seen a dramatic decrease in numbers. So my question's are... What were the good old days? How is it different to today...
