AMF Belconnen is my local. Seen a lot of changes over the last 18 years, some good, some not, but it'll always be "home".

Our local AMF ran a "game card" thing over the school holidays last year. You purchased a card for (I think it was) 20 games and then they just punched each number on the card as you used it up. It was fantastic for the kids, my son could take himself off down to the bowl and play to his hearts...

Yeah the carpeted players area wan't a brilliant idea... I was a bit concerned about the lack of rails and the low light levels around the steps leading down into the players area, I could imagine a few people taking a tumble there. Also, where were the ball racks, have there been any installed...

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with mine, I work 73.5 hours a fortnight but being in the ACT public service I get flex time, so I can work extra and accrue the time (up to a week's worth) and then take the time off when I want to (as long as it doesn't impact negatively on our operational requirements)...

In Canberra the 2008 Easter weekend is Friday March 21 to Monday March 24. Nationals starts in the last week of our term 1, so the kids from here miss a week of school too. Really looking forward to a change of scenery and a nice holiday while we're "up north"! :)
