Unfortunately until the propriators or managers from each centre get together and start discussing the issue of tournaments (and league) and how to increase numbers it probably won't improve. It is all too easy to let social bowlers onto the lanes as they pay 3 times more than a league...

So is there progress on getting a date for both of these tournaments?? It is good to be interested but would like to know when it is going to be so I know if it will clash with anything and so I know how long I have to get the money to be able to bowl if I can. THANKS DAVID SNIEDZE

Hi there Paul I know I asked the same question in the other Forum under State Tournaments, but I was directed to this thread. With just over a month to go before the Playford, what are the current squad listings?? Just thought I would ask as hasn't been anything posted for sometime...

I will agreed 100% with those posted so far. I think the event was run very well by those involved (Michael and Crystal particularly). I will also commend the centre for not having any major breakdowns where bowlers have to move lanes. Hopefully bowlers will continue to support this...

I like most that have already posted think the scores at the SA Cup were quite acceptable. I really don't understand the facination on have oil patterns or lane conditions that promote phone number like scores. Although I didn't bowl in any real major tournaments last year I did notice...
