as matt said come on sydney people join in and bowl with some of the best league bowlers in NSW. you will definitely improve bowling with this lot. Whether it be drinking or "the bowling". My average went up 10 pins from when before i started bowling with this mob.

I like the format up in the tournament recently up in coffs harbour. 6 games in qualifying + the opportunity for a re-entry. Then the elimination games. Pity i couldn't make it i would have had fun. Damn my friends for having the Christening on this day.
