    2004 Victorian Presidents Shield Roll-offs

I think the so called "whingers" have a point as do those bagging the whingers. After all it is a very big change to the format and everyone must agree that if in the past it was ok well it should have continued. The country bowlers being blamed obviously wasn't the reason either it seems. If...

    Goldpin Juniors vs AMF Juniors

I'm hearing Edi from Werribee say its just a friendly tournament. I love nothing better than spending the day watching Junior bowlers competing in the friendly manner in which they have perfected. Hopefully the above teams will be represented. If Werribee are willing to try this idea well let...

    2004 Victorian Presidents Shield Roll-offs

Thokash .... you may not be aware that Illawarra is actually wooden lanes so I'm guessing you suggested the other spots because they are synthetic lanes. And I've just seen the entry forms and now it looks like the only ones making the team will not be the lucky bowlers who have a couple of...

    2004 Victorian Presidents Shield Roll-offs

Is it any wonder that this is turning into another fiasco people. Who is it that makes these type of changes and why?? Lotus has stated the facts concerning how the country bowlers HAVE been accomodated in the past. I seriously doubt the bowlers wishes for a roll-off which really brings out the...

What are the best/worst things about Australian Bowling.

Ok my 2 bobs worth. In my opinion we will always need to focus just as much attention on the recreactional side of bowling aswell as the competitive because lets face it.. if the people don't get down there for a couple of fun games how will they ever decide. Yes of recent we have seen many...

Where are tomorrow's female bowling stars?

At this point if Upyours did tell us who he was I'm guessing he wouldn't be getting much respect from readers here. Constructive criticism is ok but you come across as very negative, insulting and unsupportive. Yes, maybe there are few junior female bowlers and that's for whatever good reason...

    SPC CONTROVERSY

I'm not sure where Spec1 was heading with this topic but if it was to discuss the matter of 'to foul or not to foul' I don't think there was any need to put your question out the way you did. You must have realised you would be questioning the integrity of an elite bowler who is a role model...

Fairlanes City ~ New Team Member

Dear Big Hit. Sorry if this is upsetting you but this is the typical chain of events that happens on the forum when someone starts a topic on modern technology or maybe on changes in bowling that are based on current issues. The topic was started with an announcement that "A new Kegel Lane...

Wayne. You agree 100% do you? That those guys are dunderheads? That nobody is allowed to bowl well unless they practice heaps? That lousy bowler leagues are not a sport? In my experience I have found the serious bowler who constantly complains about 'conditions' etc are few. I see more...

I'm sure UPYOURS that your statements to Scoops, Bowltech and Sandor....and evertone else who cares about the future of bowling in Australia will encourage a very positive response. You obviously are the only person in the whole of Australia, just a minute, the world that knows everything there...

    Junior Nationals report card

Unbelievable. Not one bad word and I must have read it 10 times to be sure. Your comments in "where are tomorrows female bowling stars" were nothing but an attack and that is why it resulted in so many defensive replies. Maybe you should rethink your approach in trying to 'inspire' the children...

    Illawarra Strikezone?

So who is the sponsor that laid down the $15000- at Illawarra, assuming that's one of the requirements to host the Nationals.

    Illawarra Strikezone?

Sorry my mistake then. I read the following on the TBA site. I thought Moonah had 24 lanes. TBA says : The Board of Tenpin Bowling Australia invites bowling centres with at least 24 lanes to lodge bids to host Junior Nationals, Adult Nationals and Youth Team Challenge during 2004.

    Illawarra Strikezone?

Great for the Nationals to be back in NSW again but I would have thought it fairer to go to Tassie or SA as it hasn't been there in a while but I guess no centre applied for it. Too bad for those states to have to travel so far again.

Congrats to Winners of Inter Centre Challenge at Nationals

Sorry to say but by the looks of those scores it seems there was a small case of average management happening here.
