Something tells me Gary, with Echuca, Kerang or Wodonga putting a team in, it still would have been 6 teams playing for 4 spots. Unless there's some method of seeding (which would be rather sketchy given only one tournament a year) to split up the teams, your always going to get your stronger...

Agree with Ray, I'd probably be in the same car. Can't bowl a lot of the Melbourne tournaments due to time/distance/cost constraints but Adelaide would make for a good change. Just a weekend that doesn't clash would be required.

Whilst it may not be a long weekend in the strictest sense of the term this year, for 4 out of 7 years (approx given some skips come leap years) it will be a long weekend. It's a handy time for a tournament that goes for 3 days and can't get much better then Mildura in summer :-)
