Better be. you got us into trouble last time when it wasn't.

Include the other country teams perhaps instead of the select few denying it to anyone else for all these years. Why can't they be in? I know the obvious where certain people are only looking after their own self interest instead of the sport but what else stops them coming in?

The competition is still there. Just the rivalry isn't. For example, we know we will beat Shep so there is really no point rubbing their noses in it.

One good easy upgrade you can do is to stop using storm balls :)

Thanks Peter. That is a good example of what we have been saying. Anything other than 100% is unfair to the lower average bowler.

It isn't statistics, it is outright facts. Get rid of the assumptions. It is a fact that if 2 bowlers are bowling a handicap league and one is off a higher average than the other then a system based on anything other than 100% of a number higher than the highest average is unfair. The...

This thread seems to be about the majority, not the infrequent games where someone shoots 50+ over average. I know it seems to happen a lot but look at the number of games bowled and work it out as a percentage. Mine would be low and I am inconsistent at the best of times. And golf itself...

Doesn't that and the next post by him "break the rules" by being irrelevant and off topic? Now to the topic.... Correct me where I am wrong. 1. An average is what you are likely to bowl based on your previous performances. A 150 average bowler for example is likely to shoot games...

Well done to Dean and Ray for organising the tourney and to Rob and Lisa for all the work they also put in to make sure it went well. Great to see all the bowlers who turned up to support his tourney. Well done to George, Ray and the others who cashed.

Yet another excuse. The ones who pulled out didn't have a calendar anywhere to look at? Yes it will be easier next year if the holiday is on the Friday but that is no excuse for putting your name in when you know the holiday was on the Thursday then using it as an excuse not to bowl...

Not so much a case of being that bad a it is a case of other centres putting down patterns that make it so easy (ditches). There is no doubt that they could put something realistic down but they chose not to as it would cost them money. This has all been discussed on other threads.

Something I totally agree with. TB is only a very small part of the bowling community. There needs to be broader advertising of events.
