    Junior Counry Cup 2006

Hey Scott Sorry to see Sale can't make up the 3 girls. But at least you're looking good on the boys side. You and Andrew have been bowling well for a few years now, hope it goes well for you. I can't believe you're still juniors! Go Sale Ryan Crawford

    Spare Practice ?

Couldn't agree more. There's nothing that builds my confidence more than when i've practiced my spare lines, and know all i have to do is hit my mark, and pencil in the next spare. I can almost guarantee that when i'm lazy, and decide to improvise a line which 'should work', i will more often...

    Lowest game's in one night

I remember at Junior Country Cup one year, i had a classic game about 2nd last game for the tournament. It was one of those games as a youngster where you open the first few frames and you lose all confidence. Every spare seemed more impossible as the game went on, so much so that nearing...

    Why Do You Bowl?

I've been asking myself the same question recently as well. I stopped bowling about 5 months ago, which at the time seemed like an easy decision. Finances had become tight, so that i could then only afford to bowl once a week. I saw my game crumbling around me, and others asking 'what the hell...

the death of ten pin bowling!!!!!!

A couple of points i've been thinking about for a while: 1. Respect for the sport: My girlfriend was talking to some of her workmates last week, and they were bagging out bowling. "Hang on! My boyfriend does tenpin bowling as his sport!" This was met with huge laughs from everyone. "Bowling...

    Country Cup 2006

Liz gave some insight into the Sale team earlier in the thread Apparently Liz doesn't have too much faith in this team, whoever is in it. I wouldn't either without Gunther!

    Knight Rider the game 2

Does anyone know the best way to get a hold of Knight Rider the game 2? I know it's around in other parts of the world, but i don't know the best way to buy games from overseas. Any ideas would be great, coz i would really love to get this game! Thanks

Ahh classic. Except the first time i clicked the link, it came up with a very different game... lets just say there were bikinis and fishing hooks involved. Go figure!

    V8 or Turbo

Love the performance of a turbo... but give me the sweet tune of a V8 any day. Wouldn't trade mine for anything! Makes driving that much sweeter :P

    DILLAN DE MATHER BOWLS 300

Hey top effort mate. Your game just keeps getting better and better! Nice to see a bowler from down Gippsland way making a name for himself. I'm sure this is just the start of many great things to come.

How to make that big entrance!

Or when you forget to zip up your bag, and as you talk to the manager you watch as your bowling balls crash to the ground, and go for a roll down towards the cafe. Hungry little buggers :P

    2005 Victoria Bowling Calendar

Yeah that's a good point Vi. i've been wondering for ages why the Vic site hasn't been updated in so long! I was not aware of the new victenpins address. But then that's probably me own fault for not taking enough notice! The new site looks good by the way Jayson, top effort.

    Previous Sports?

Yeah Gippsland does that to you doesn't it! I managed to waste my time with a lot of music mostly, but i had a bit of a run with some other sports: Hockey - This sport was once my great love, until i got older and unfit towards the end of school. In the junior team in year 9, a shock...

BLUES FANS WHAT IS GOING ON??

Yeah the blue baggers sure didn't help this week's tipping for me. Looking like 0 from 5 matches if West Coast don't get up. Now THAT is a scary thought! Go the mighty Bombers tomorrow! If they can't beat Hawthorn...

First bowling alley you ever bowled in?

Bowled for the first time in 1992, at what was formally known as Sale Tenpins. Was about 5 years before i had my second game. Oh how i wasted my childhood! :P

    Lane Conditions

Ah yes, i remember when i first started out bowling, and someone decided to use a floor sander on the lanes! Now there was some highly consistent play. It actually turned out ok somehow, except for when they got bored and stopped halfway down lane 10. It was always a nice surprise when...

How did you get into Tenpin?

The parents of a good friend of mine owned the local bowling alley, so i thought i'd give it a go in year 7 just for some fun. Boy am i glad i did! :D Imagine life without bowling... it's a scary thought!
