So, what did ppl think about the weekend? The scores weren't all that big, but a big congrats must go out to both Trent and Jayde, both about 90 and 80 pins clear on top at the moment. Still ten games to go yet. So as I asked, what did ppl think about the weekend??

Thanks Shellby I was a part of 2000 & 2001 South QLD President's Shield Team. I was the quiet one of the team. I dunno if that helps you or not.

I think what Shellby is referring to here is the South QLD President's Shield roll-off for the Shield Team 2002. The roll-off is held over 2 weekends (4 days) and begin in early March 2002 I do believe. The first and second weekends are 3 weeks apart. Then again, I could be wrong of course

I know this has nothing to do with Tournament bowling, but the first step into helping this sport along, is lower game fees, and to get rid of those "Fun" leagues where you get the free "whatever" at the end. They do not promote the sport of 10 pin bowling, what-so-ever. No-one gets coached...

the possibility of having sport conditions for every tournament is not possible. not every tournament anyway. there are lanes out there that would not be to hold the sport condition, and then what would that achieve. i can see the benefits of it, but i don't think it would work.
