UPDATE/EDIT:
The Power Drive has only had the thumb plugged once and moved down a little bit, the finger holes + weight hole are first drill.
U-Turn and Power Groove do <i>not</i> have weight holes also.
15lb Columbia 300 U-Turn Pearl - plugged once but drilled in same spot.
15lb Columbia 300 Power Drive Pearl - same as above.
Both in excellent condition, hardly used.

The machine was off, no doubt about it.
Read the quote in my previous post, it wasnt the fact that the machine was not turned off properly, or not unplugged or whatever, its just that he tried to save time and just hit the pin out of the table rather than crank it...
