Yeah reading it it tells me they are selling the building with no intention to changing the leasee, they are actually building it up in a way. 10 years of rent at least with the option for 15 more, thats pretty good.
There is plenty of commentary on the PBA forums about Belmo's exemption. Quite a few people are saying he should have gone through the Tournament Qualifying Round (TQR) like everyone else whilst others believe he is an asset to the sport in America and around the world who will get more ratings...
Yeah great effort to both AMP and George, the top seeds though were a cut above and the men's final could have gone either way, the American won the 2nd game on a bowl off and went on to win it.

How good is this photo and article, no 1 qualifier, straight through to final 16!
Addition: Belmo gets first payday as a PBA member - $100. Many more of those to come!
hahaha!!!
I was there on saturday, they had security there. Although they looked unhappy. My guess is that they had lunch and the price wasnt all that good.
Trust me James, if I even tried to explain it your head would probably explode!
Thanks for the kind words and to Jason Doust earlier in the thread.
Looking forward to next year's already.
Yep in 2000 my 1st year of bowling i performed the following:
Singles League: 2nd
Teams League: 2nd
Triple X: 2nd
9 No-Tap: 2nd
Bowler of the Month: 2nd
Bowler of the Year: 2nd
Born to runner-up!
Well, that's the best thing about best of 5 knockout format, anyone can win if they have their day. Congrats to Ross and thanks to James and all who made this tournament a great success and I hope it is bigger and better next year.
Belmo will be racing in the Wyong Gold Cup today after the meeting was abandoned last friday. Wish him luck and hoping a few punters on totalbowling make a few bucks.
Belmo is racing again today in the Wyong Gold Cup, looking to repeat his win from Coffs Harbour. The paper had him at $9 which only means more money to us!
Good luck Belmo!
