valid points but the air conditoners aren't going to work efficiently when bowl is full of "sweaty" people. We had same at Narre last night and I would suggest that all bowling centres had similiar conditions in which to bowl in last night, no bowl's air conditioning units would be able to cope...

I might have got my wish but Tony last received a just reward of $1000 as part of the OZ Tenpin incentive scheme for high games as spoken about by Tonx in another thread. He did come back to earth though and bowled a gutter first ball on one of his shots last night, sorry Tony :)

he also rolled 223 and 235 to go with it so definitely watch out :) it was pretty to watch all pocket except one and left solid 10 pin

Congratulations to Tony for throwing a 299 game in Express League at Narre Warren last night on lanes 3 & 4. All balls except 11th shot were perfect pocket balls and he was left with a solid ten pin. This followed games of 223 and 235 so he bowled a 757 series. Well Done and keep up the good work

well i must be an exception to the rule here, i've been unemployed twice in the last year and both times haven't given up bowling. it just a matter of managing what resources you have at your disposal but i guess being an accountant i'm able to do that better than most. i'm not saying its easy...

lance, The mens team need the girls to cheer for them as we had no problems creating our own atmosphere. The men might have need to adapt our secret weapon with the names to relax and enjoy themselves a bit more:)

i must be in the minority here, as i averaged 5 pins higher than current league average so the pattern can't have been that bad, the only other handicap i have is being left handed but you adapt to the conditions with the equipment you have... thats the joy of bowling tournaments

Bairnsdale might be closed but Sale is in the process of relocating i believe so there will still be a centre down there eventually.

Huge congratulations to my team mate Clem Cox on bowling a nice 299 game in game three of Express League tonight at Narre Warren. cold 10 pin was left. His series was 689 after he started the night with a 134 game just to prove we are all human after all. Nice bowling buddy keep up the good work.
