apart from the fact that tenpin didn't make it, the games themselves are not to be missed. i worked at 2006 melbourne games and thouroughly enjoyed myself. so i would encourage all those that live in qld and even those that don't to embrace the opportunity and make it the spectacle it should be.

Edi/Gary, just a thought that might help with some of the problems, would having a bowlers rep from each of the centres who bowl emerson reporting to a bowlers liason type person who is on goldpin committee be one solution?

its a bit hard to police the rules when there is no effective committee to report these things too as lisa said. need to get a Goldpin committee happening first or if there is one in existance let all bowlers in competition aware of the contact numbers. We all know that not all the information...

those that have already bowled zone, probably don't care about their northern neighbours apart from the final results to see who will join them at Epping

there is craig, i believe you have to have bowled 18 games league but you also have to be still in the league to roll off. ie can't bowl for 6 weeks leave league then roll off. As for the netball situation, surely the ladies should have been asked what was more important, the dates are never...

i know this is super early but my week is getting away from me already, so li'd like to wish all southern zone competitors the best of luck in Colac at the weekend and for everyone just to go out and enjoy this teams event for what it is..:)

looks like the guys have the pattern sorted with 4 300's bowled up to end of 1st block today.

i must say the south queenslanders looked good in their uniforms at melbourne airport friday night.

It is with deep regret and sorrow that I inform the bowling community of the passing of Bryant on Thursday night. He fought a good fight right to the end and was surrounded by family. He will be sadly missed by all the bowling community. R.I.P
