    Southern Boys

Ah yes, THAT song. I have to admit i was first introduced to it at Schools last year when Slats got all of the boys (probably some of the coaches and managers as well, maybe??) singing it on the bus, and doing it loud enough that us girls in the next bus could hear it. But i have to say that...

    Junior Nationals and Shield

Another worthy mention is Kim Edwards from WA left six... yes six 8-10's during his stay in melbourne for nationals. Also, a frequent name in this book, Brendan Payne (also WA) left at least 3 8-10's while in melbourne. Gee guys, your sure doing WA proud (sorta.....kinda....not really j/k  )

    Junior Nationals and Shield

I have heard, from a very reliable source, that Ben Harriss (Tasmania) left a nice 5-7-10 during his teams qualifying at Jnr Nationals yesterday. To make it even worse, he missed the lot on the second shot!! I'm suer everyone in Tassie would like to hear that one :D

who are your picks for melbourne?

Hmmmm........ this is a tough one This year is gonna be a tough one to call, there are so many people that can win it. I reckon my buddy Slats is in with a big chance after last year, Luke Rowland, Team Brunswick should be up there for sure, Bobby O'Reilly, The Reeve twins from Tassie could...

LUKE DICK Your Time Has Come

I also got this information from a relatively credable source (i.e the 'man' himself). He said " Rolled out before it even hit the lane" (or words to that effect) Nice effort Luke, next time, can u make sure we can all see it :D

    RACHUIG - Finals Days

Here Adrian, let me enlighten you! I'm not rolling off this year because the time that Rachuig is on is the same time as the study week for my Semester 2 university exams, and my studies take priority over my bowling any day.

    did u say 4-5-7-10??

What can I say? I aim to please! :D I'm glad everyone thought it was funny. Had to have a laugh at it myself too (cant take things like this too seriously :D ) But we cant forget a few other insidents at Werribee: * I do belive there were a few simple 5-7-10's left, one by Cassie in...

    Form Slump

James I've been through that many times with exam and test pressure. But like the others have said, dont be too worried about it. I found i always bowled badly when i was trying to study for exams, the thing is not to dwell on it. Once exams are over, then start thinking about your bowling...

    Pocket Leave of the Century

Well, in just 1 night at AMF Cannington (WA), i managed to see: - a 7-8-9 - a 5-6-7 - and a 6-7-8 and that was only between 2 pairs of lanes  i cant remeber if they were pocket shots, but i thought they deserved a mention anyway

    Youth Team Challenge 2003

For this year's WA side, as far as i am aware, if you wish to bowl, then you send in a resume of sorts to the committee, with your bowling details and achievements on it. They then select 4 girls and 4 guys for the team. As far as i know, it was up to the state mangers (i think) to choose the...
