I'd like to congratulate Chris "AKKO" Atkinson on his fine 299 tonight at AMF Cannington on lanes 1 and 2. The front 11 were absolutely all beautiful pockets (from memory), although he pulled it a little high to leave a 3 pin on the last shot.. Still a fine effort in any circumstances, well...

Just asking, how does that work? I mean plastic coverstocks slide when there is oil, and even if you do hit pocket, you're not going to get much pin action or carry considering the ball is still sliding when it hits the pins, which in turn causes the pins the "slide" back into the pit, rather...

I would just like to congradulate Chris Watson on another successful tournament campaign, with 1st Place at this years Challenger Ford Junior Cup down at AMF Rockingham. Chris finished the day 94 pins over the card, for a 211 ave over 8 games, clasping the trophy from myself just by 16pins...

Mine's worse :p !!! 5 bagger to start with, then I drop the ball as I release, barely any hand on it. Skids out and takes the 10 solid, spare'd that up, and went off the sheet for a 271 game. I still laugh about it, I think it has to be one of the best games I've ever stuffed up in lol!

With the closing of Fairlanes being instigated for next year and the possible end of the Perth Cup, will this be the end for ranked events being held here in Western Aust? I mean we lost Cannington Classic last year, and now the possibility of Perth Cup going as well. What will happen? :confused:
