great post I think theres room for both tournaments. Maybe at some stage the brisbane one could be moved mid year in the june school holidays. The rocky tournament has 21 years of tradition and too see that go would be a very sad day for our sport in QLD.

well said Nathan Ive been to rocky twice as a bowler in 1994 and last year as a coach and had a blast both times. It will be really sad if juniors in years to come dont get the chance to experience the QLD Jnr shield. I might get in trouble for saying this but i think a few people went up...
