Bigsy, the Lanes themselves are not a problem to Bowl on, you will only notice a different sound when the Ball hits the Lane. But if there are Synthetic Approaches also, than that's a whole other Story, these things are Knee destroyers. jmo willey

There you go Phaggy, you answered your own Question! In Golf you have 14 Golf Clubs for all the Different Shots that you could be required to play. In Bowling you cannot take 14 Bowling Balls with you, for all the differing Conditions you may have to Play.

Robbie, they are good prices at your Centre but I haven't worked in an AMF Centre for 7 years and back then 2 games for a Family of 4 cost over $80, not including Food, even the Staff didn't buy the Food. willey

As Jason say's, lane oil is not that Oily, it is designed to evaporate over time, if it didn't your Ball wouldn't come out of the Ball Return because of the build-up of oil and I've seen that happen. willey

Robbie, if you use a Good Quality Super Glue, like they sell in Bearing Distributors e.g; CBC Bearings, you will find you have a more secure product, you may pay $20 or more but the bottles hold a lot of glue. The stuff they sell in Supermarkets or Cheap shops is Crap, I know I own a Cheap Shop...
