No it is not cheaper for you to bowl socially, if you didn't bowl league you wouldn't get league practice rates. It's as simple as that. It's been said already but clearly it isn't getting through to you.

I may get shot down for this but I also believe the attitude of regular league bowlers is a major problem in accepting new bowlers and growing the sport. Case in point: The league I bowl in recently had an addition of two new teams full of young, social bowlers who had a penchant for a beer...
