You can definitely see how reactive resin has changed our sport. But I think it can be a matter of perspective also. Speaking purely from a tournament perspective, hasn't reactive resin allowed for much much much more challenging conditions? I doubt 30 years ago you'd see 43 foot flooded...

Nothing wrong with odin machines at all, except for the fact they are overly complicated compared to newer machinery. They would be awesome to work on if you had a manual in english, I reckon. (they are a japanese design I believe?)

Cameron got rid of those odins? I remember being let down the back & seeing them (being an aspiring mechanic, & working as an 82-30 tech), oh my god! The amount of belts & pulleys was just disgusting =P I'd still prefer wooden lanes to the synthetics that I bowl on now. Actually, to be honest...

I always loved watching michael schmidt on youtube, but my greatest influence would have been my coach Ashley Clark, I wouldn't be a quarter the bowler I am today without his guidance and friendship.

Sort of annoys me that people threaten to drop out of leagues because of compulsory membership. OUR MEMBERSHIP IS CHEAP COMPARED TO OTHER SPORTS. 30 bucks?! I spend atleats 4 times that amount on a night out at the pub. Geez. People need to get over it I reckon. Join, or don't bowl, simple.

i remember hitting 600 for the first time. Then I remember hitting 650. 700 was probably the hardest milestone for me though, I stressed over it more than anything else being a mentally weak teen, then once I hit it it was like "meh, that wasn't too special." Nothing really lives upn to the hype...

I dont see how his post or any post is stupid... people just assumed he was insulting the bowlers when his original point (as he stated) was how broken the system is. People probably shouldn't take things to heart online anyways... & quit finding people to take their frustrations out on.

Just throwing it out there.. But did anyone happen to think that the politics involved in bowling have somewhat partially caused the state of affairs we are in now? Just seems like people can't get along... I dunno, just how I feel.
