I agree with the cow on this one... the position in the tournament, number of strikes, event prestige and external influencec all depends on how badly the bowler wants it, and how badly they want it is a reflection of how much it means to them. Great examples Cow R

I agree gnome... if this sort of subbing was allowed then teams would turn up with at least one sub of a different style, so when the lane starts carrying down for the stroker the cranker can come in and shoot a fresher line or vice versa, it is simply unfair i think! the same format goes for...

Ahh mate.. it's not just Knox... up here in Sunny Sydney, Hornsby is the same... oil is short and light.... and this is for a 5 men team x 3 games... i'm only a mild tweener and my light oil ball was moving from 5 board into the pocket in the first game... somewhere in the 2nd game the lanes...

I reckon some people just don't get it... the more negative they think when they're bowling, the less they'll be able to concentrate on their shot when it counts most, and eventually it'll feel like ur opponents getting all the lucky breaks everytime they leave a 9 when it could've been a split...

Next pickup line for some mechanic'll be something along the lines of "ever wanted to bowl a sanctioned 900 series? well... come to my centre and i can take care of that..." Just for a laugh :D R
