Umm Rowan I think your a little mistaken... the lane surface or condition has nothing to do with how many revs you get on the ball... thats completely based on how you release the ball!

There are limit to how soft a ball can be and the SD73 was softer or as soft as the limit.. im pretty sure it was something along those lines as to why the ball was banned.
