Why a TBA Moderator !!!

Could someone please explain why a "moderator" needs to screen posting to be answered by TBA. Surely in this day and age bowlers should be able to pose questions to the various parties concerned without someone else deciding if your post meets TBA criteria.

Hi Joe,

I will try and answer this the way i think it was asked…

I set up the TBA Forum so that Alex or members of the TBA could answer any Questions put there way by the forum members…

The following points are why it was decided to be a moderated forum…

  • So the questions asked could be answered by TBA officials them selves.
  • So that no abuse could be put towards the TBA and officials as we know that not all members of the site hold them in high regard.
  • So that it didn’t turn into a guess the answer from our members and that we would get the CORRECT answer straight from the TBA.
  • If we have threads in this forum turn into a general discussion it makes it hard for officials of TBA to know who it is they actually have to answer.

95% of all questions that have been posted in this forum have been approved…

A lot of answers from bowlers in this thread have not been approved...

If members feel as though they have the correct answer to a question or topic it can be asked again or moved to the main forum for discussion.

Hope that helps
