Seniors to Manila

Spoke to Glenn who just came back from Manila, many places are flooded in Manila, and the situation will remains the same until December. Fortunaterly the bowling center (green valley) is ok. Here are some tips

. Don't drink tap water
. Don't buy unsealed bottle water
. Go shopping with local people

Which probably also means don't have ice with any of your drinks or any "post-mix" soft drinks or mixers.

The water had a half meter deep in Manila, Geoff, don't forget your swmiware.

I was told the approach of the bowling center is quite slippery.

Gonna miss my parents and hope they are okay up there! :(
 
This is the home town of one of our WA bowlers and she has had word from family, there are no problems/flooding in the town - or the bowling centre.

Even so, I think, after lessons learned in Qatar in 2000, I might take a bit of care in what I drink and even brush my teeth in.
