No Problem John,

Yeah it was close, almost chased George down, :p he bowled very consistant. Last Lane change got me, 2 splits in 9th game, Lane dried up just that little. Then critical ball change. Ross Tipped me again haha Second time his done that. :)

Hi All,

I can upload the sheet ! Here you go.

Yeah Thanks Andrew,

I was already drepessed by my last four games dropping 100 pins and 14 places. Next time I might turn up for ten games. All user error though, threw it bad and got what i deserved.

You got close Brad, George was prety much coasting for the event, I did not even see him work up a sweet as he made it look easy again. But third with the company you had at the pointy end has to make you feel really proud of your effort. Well done Brad.

Yep, I hear you. I bowled my worst game last with a 137 and only need a 171 to pip you out of a prize !! 6 splits didn't help.

Andrew

Thanks John, Been working hard on a few things since last event, Glad it paid off. K.I.S.S is the best method for me, :). Don't worry l had to work for some of my games too. Yeah wondered what happened John you were there... then not :(

It is nice when the practice pays off, keeping it simple is always best.

Odd as Brad with the drop off, It is all user error, when I get to the really broken down end of the day I tend to not go deep enough. Try to play the comfort zone for myself and stay safe and hold on.

The better move may have been to grab something very aggressive and throw it from deeper on the lane, maybe learn how to rev it up like you do. I will need to practice that as it has been costly for me in the last four events I find myself with out a line to play.

I had the same issue Andrew, the splits where a killer in the end. I had to work hard to get to a 180.

Next time, I hope we make the right moves.

Yep and the user error for me was as small as 1-2 boards. As l sanded my ball for this event to 400 grit (Storm Marvel Pearl) it just grab that touch early and went through the nose. My ball speed just dropped a little too which also didn't help (l'm only a little guy haha). Of late l've been keeping my shot tight with moderate hook as that ball just rolls with sutle arch. l changed to my polished Critical Theory so went down the lane further and had more backend. Think as you get older you get wiser and don't wanna play the huge shot. For me l think its the fact that my drilling isn't as aggresive as it once was. In saying that my Storm Lucid will be drilled to go nuts, which will complete my set. If l can't bowl on any lanes (meaning avg 200+) then l'm not thinking right :) With age comes wisdom hehe

For sure Brad, as you get older you need to think harder. The younger guys just give it a fist full more and over power the lanes. I just don't have that kind of shot in me. To old and busted. So, for us older folk it needs to be about repeating the shot as the area for error is smaller.

Sounds like a new thread, how to bowl when you get old!

I'm a little disappointed you haven't done the Squad listing for the next event yet boys. Was hoping I wouldn't have any jobs left to do!!! Thanks for the scoring update, Brad. Much appreciated.
