Full results attached.

A very close and exciting finish with 5 guys fighting it out for the last 2 spots in the final game. The final result was not known until the last frame with only 43 pins seperating 6th to 10th.

Congratulations to all who made the teams and bowl well at Altona in October.

Well Done to all who made the team.

Biggest congrats has to go to one of the first timers, Chris.
Mate, bloody great effort. When I got your message I went off. Seeing as though there was no sav, I guess its Hooto for you lol ;)

All the best.
Jen

Well done Chris Commane, i'm sure you'll do much better in this years Rachuig event than you did in last years Intercentre Cup! ;) It's great to see you're moving up quickly. Hope to see you again this year! :)

What an exciting finish to the trials!
Everyone had their ups and downs over the weekend, with Greg Elkin charging from last after the Devo stage to get into contention at various stages and AJ, after having a shocker in Devonport came back strongly on Day 3 only to have another bad one on the final day, Steve Smith also was in contention until very late in the proceedings.
Going into the last game it was all up for grabs with Aaron Franklin, Tiny Dickson, Androoo and Braddy Goss back in 10th being a distant chance.
Goss starts out with the front five or six to jump into contention, Franklin is still in it until he wizzed a 7-pin in the 6th frame, Dicko and Androo are still in with a show going into the tenth.
Goss finishes out strongly, Androo flushes the hole and all ten go down, but then a pin bounces back up and stands as the 7-pin - it's all over!
Dicko has his chance, gets up drill's Kermie straight in the hole - strike!
Needs one more to get in the side, it's a little slow, jumps high, and leaves the 3-6-10 - Dicko's out!
Congratulations to all who made the team, especially to the new faces in the side - Boofa, Joel, Brad and Ricky - well done! - as well as the mainstays Ash and Cricky who never looked like missing, and welcome back into the side to Oaks.

Hey Matt i don't know about finishing solidly, i wasn't feeling all that confident when i left that wash out on my first shot in the tenth, just glad i was able to compose myself enough to be able to make the spare to keep myself in contention, Andrew that was without doubt the unluckiest shot i have ever seen in my entire life and my hat has to come off to you for keeping your cool as much as you did i reckon i probably would have eaten the ball return.

yep, have to agree with brad ....... i thought androo kept his cool extremely well, and it was the most unlucky shot at an inopportune time i have ever seen. mate ... you must have been shattered, but took it like a man.

to the guys that did make the team, well done, im sure you guys will do well. good effort from all the newcomers, especially rick and brad who were right in the gun in the last few frames as the experience of tiny and droo was bearing down.

i reckon i probably would have eaten the ball return.
If it had some salt and a little "dead horse", I might have as well.... Looked a little bland to me. :D

Thanks for the support guys. Hopefully it's a blessing in disguise, as I want to make some pretty big changes in my game for the better, and had I made the team, I probably wouldn't be able to do it.

Go get 'em!!!

That leave Drooo had was as nasty as that time Ellis Harris shot 299, when he apparently moved the 10-pin across the deck and it stood as the 9-pin in league here years ago (I didn't see it, but heard about it).
Seriously evil breaks both of them, oh and Brad, I meant everything bar the washout :p but even then I tipped you to spare it.
Was a good roll-off, had lots of twists and turns.

:) well done and gr8 bowling from all i would also like to congratulate all that made the team and commiserations to those that missed out well done to joel
i told him that he would be in the team on day 2 of dev but he didnt believe me :) but i still told him
