Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland have successfully held the 6th Interschool Challenge. This event is open to all bowlers who are registered school students. There are 2 divisions
1. Secondary Division – Statewide Competition
2. Primary Division – South East Queensland
On 27 & 28 August 2005 the State Finals of the Secondary Division took place at AMF Redcliffe Bowl and Strathpine Tenpin Bowl. There were 9 teams lining up who won their respective Regional Qualifying Round to participate in the Finals.
The competition was close throughout the 2 days with positions not finalised until the last match on Sunday. Final results were
1. Windaroo Valley SHS 119 points (Defending Champions)2. Ryan Catholic College 103 points
3. Narangba Valley SHS 101 points
4. Harristown SHS 97 points
5. Kepnock SHS 73.5points
6. Runcorn SHS 66 points
7. The Cathedral College 47.5points
8. Kenmore SHS 36 points
9. St Augustines College 19 points
Windaroo Valley SHS consisted of: (Becky Manderson, Rochelle Mottlee, Luke McNaughton, Matt Simpson and Brendon Cairn.
An All Star Team was announced made up of the top 5 averages from the weekend, CONGRATULATIONS to these 5 bowlers.

2. Adam Willersdorf (Harristown SHS) 212
3. Matt Simpson (Windaroo Valley SHS 207
4. Adam Grandison (Harristown SHS) 193.8
5. Rochelle Mottlee (Windaroo Valley SHS) 193.7
5 Aaron Nowak (Ryan Catholic College) 193.7
TBAQ conducted a Sportsperson award (voted by the bowlers) for the State Finals and the awards were kindly donated by Strathpine Tenpin Bowl and Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland Inc. There were 2 categories Girls winner Becky Manderson (Windaroo Valley SHS) and Boys winner Matt Simpson (Windaroo Valley SHS).
TBAQ would also like to congratulate all the 63 schools that participated in the competition for 2005 and look forward to a bigger and more exciting event in 2006.
