Good luck to all the guys and girls rolling off this weekend, and may the cream rise to the top.

I left from over there in their ninth game. In the men George was in front by 10000000 pins then Pilko, Brendan, Danial Smith Darryl A, Jim M and then someone else, then someone else and so on down to sixteenth.

In the women Kate was 1000000 pins in front of Tracey C who was 10000000000000000000 pins in front of Haley D.

just slightly exaggerated there Shayne:D:D:D

Scores will be posted at the end of tomorrow - it's been a long day and some of us have just gotten home, some are still to get there.

Andrew has no internet access until after midnight tonite - so the scores will be posted in the morning.

We have had an interesting weekend all round........

Need to say a huge big thanks to all the counter staff at AMF Mt Gravatt, nothing was too much trouble and all done with a gracious smile (especially on Saturday); also to Evelyn and David from TBAQ for their time over the weekend inputting statistics for Gail and the coaches and selectors (thanks also to Chris Titheradge for her input as well); Andrew Shinnie for giving up his weekend to come and collate scores and distribute score sheets for the masses; to Morty and Kelly Douglass for their professionalism with the printed score sheets/lane draws, not to mention the huge TBAQ banner which promoted the event within the centre; and YOU, the bowlers - for your enthusiasm and support for an event that needs you to be able to be sustained in the future!

To those of you who made the top 10 - congratulations on your efforts over 2 gruelling days - going into the last block there was about 15 pins separating bowlers placed from 7th thru to 14th or thereabouts - it definately wasn't over until the very last game, and you should all be commended on your efforts. Commiserations to those who fell short of the line, you gave it your all on what was a tough two days.

Thank you all for your input on what hopefully will be the start of a new tide of Rachuig teams within this great state of ours!;)

Broni....:D

Well Said Broni, The Event Went very well. Andrew is just trying to load a score sheet up now. But now sure if we will be able to get it up till tomorrow.

Cheers

Morty

Hey Tubby,
I'm sure they will put the actual scores up later but here are the bowlers who made it and the order isn't 100 % correct.

Men:
Brian Pilkington
George Frilingos
Brendan Meads
Jim Murray
Ian Phelan
Morty Douglas
Ben Taylor
Daniel Mifsud
Daniel Smith
Tony Hamilton

The top 3 avg 217 with the cut being 25 under which was me.

Women:
Kate Wilton
Tracey Crisp
Hayley Donnelly
Karen Gill
Leesa Bartlem
Suzanne Peacock
Karen Gill

Kate was the only one to finish just over the card.

Well done to all that competed as it wasn't easy out there.

Hope that helps you Tubby and Good Luck to all in the Northern Zone Roll-off in 3 weeks time.

Need to say a huge big thanks to all the counter staff at AMF Mt Gravatt, nothing was too much trouble and all done with a gracious smile (especially on Saturday);

It was our pleasure, thank you for the kind comments.

May I take this opportunity to thank TBAQ for their professionalism and excellent organisation, and I must also thank all of the bowlers for their co-operation over the weekend.

The Score Sheet has Been up loaded. Please note that George had an Injury and Withdraw in the last game to prevent futher issues with his Knee.

Congratulations to all who made the cut, and commisserations to those that missed out.

I am sure that once the Northern roll off is concluded that we will have a very strong squad of 20 men (and 14 women :p)

Just a question, once the 20 man squad has been decided when do the teams actually get picked?

Cheers

Steve

PS Andrew have you been downloading a lot of theose "special" movies off the internet, hence the slowed internet speed? :D:D

The plan is that the teams are announced no later than 7 days AFTER the northern Roll off........

Steve,

As Per the Nomination Outline the Objective of the Selectors is to have the Teams selected within 7 days of the completioin of the Northern Zone Trial.
