To all lady bowlers interested in competing with the best in Oz.
The Queensland Ladies Classic will be held at Caboolture Bowl on June 21st and 22nd. This is a nationally ranked tournament and has been most successful in past years with Kelly Warren, the three-peat winner answering the challenge once again......
Entry fee for non Powder Puff Tour bowlers (the ladies division of the Twin Tour!) is $160 and with reasonable accommodation and some billets available along with PICK UP AND DELIVERY from Brisbane Airport - your costs should not be TOO much - (never cheap enough, I know!). The bowl is located within a couple of minutes walk from shopping, accomm. and clubs and even a medical centre!!!!!!!
16 games qualifying (in two blocks of 10 games and 6 games) plus a cut to Top 15 for a 7 games matchplay (3 to a pair - 50 for win, 25 for 2nd and 0 for 3rd) ensures an enjoyable format for this tournament. Very positive comments from 2002......
