I just got the new Power Diesel by Hammer drilled and I've gotta say it is the most awesome ball I have ever bowled with. I have been bowling almost exclusively with Hammer since I was 16 and this is easily their best ball.
I have it drilled with 7/8 side weight and 1/4 thumb weight with no balance or leverage holes. This thing motors down the lane, gets to the back and just turns left. What it does to the pins is simply breath taking, it has a carry rate of about 98%. The ball looks like it actually accelerates towards the pocket once it starts to turn.
The most amazing thing is that I throw very little hand and this ball does amazing things, I mean me sending scouts & messengers are like Hayley's Comet (they are usually only seen once every 76 years) yet this ball sends the pins flying. I would love to see some players with lots of hand throw one of these as I reckon it would be devastating.
