just wondering has anyone been to the new strathfield superbowl (formally enfield) yet? If so what you think?

I have been a few times since it opened.
I like the look of it, but I dont like carpet in the players area. Also the lanes have been dirty, but its understandable for now as works arn't finished yet. Oil pattern though leaves little to be desired.

At least I get to keep "samples" of the carpet stuck to the velcro on the bottom of my bowling shoes, LoL

Yeah the carpeted players area wan't a brilliant idea... I was a bit concerned about the lack of rails and the low light levels around the steps leading down into the players area, I could imagine a few people taking a tumble there. Also, where were the ball racks, have there been any installed yet?

Having said that, the seating was really great, nice open cafe area to watch the lanes from, the coffee kicks butt over any AMF centre I've been to and the staff were all lovely.
