Tuggeranong Bowl is holding a new Cash Doubles League starting in late January 2004.
The league will compete on Tuesday Nights starting at 6.00pm and commence on Tuesday 20th January 2004 and finish on Tuesday 14th December 2004.
The league will consist of 3 elements and 3 payouts:
* Weeks 1 - 24 will represent Season 1 and payout 1
* Weeks 25 - 48 will represent Season 2 and payout 2
* Total points from both Seasons will be combined to determine Overall place getters and represent payout 3.
The League will be based on 16 teams and at present we already have 11 teams who have registered so if you are interested, please contact the Centre on 62933888 as soon as possible.
Each bowler will bowl 4 games per week and use a handicap system of 95% of 220 so that all teams are evenly matched, and points will be awarded for individual wins and overall team wins. The cost of competing will be $27 per week.
A meeting is being held on Tuesday 13th January 2004 at Tuggeranong Bowl at 6.30pm to elect a board and discuss the league.
A proposed payout will be available at the meeting.
