I started bowling in 1960 or 1961 in Newcastle NSW Australia and played junior league at Newcastle Bowl initially and then at Olympic Bowl Mayfield and for that center in the Coca Cola NSW junior travelling league for a couple of years starting in 1962 or 1963. I stopped bowling in 1969 and, other than a league for one season in 1978 at Balgowlah Bowl (in Sydney), didn’t play again until 2002. Have now gotten back into the game and carry a 177 USBC average (I left Oz in 1972 and have lived in the US since 1980), high game 267, high series 692.
