how to get the jigsaw back to the box finish

i've been reading about this and im not sure if its rught but anyways do you just sand it to 500 abralon and right after sand it to 4000 abralon?

i got it sanded back to box finish and working pritty good alot better for me then 2K abralon lol.

lol yeh i no i got his number lol yeh washed it and all and working like it was when i first got it but a littlw tuned down bowled a 232 176 237 lol got a bunch of splits hit the pocket flush but oh well lol.
