The tournament picked up some late entries on Saturday, and also some extra sponsorship dollars, which enabled us to pay to 24th place.

High block in each squad was awarded:
Squad A: 495 Bob Swift
Squad B: 490 Andrew Drew
Squad C: 526 Carl Bottomley
Squad D: 457 Robbie Buckley

We also were able to pay $100 to a mystery block score from any squad.
The score chosen at random was 343, and the only bowler to achieve it was Chris Thomas bowling in C squad. Chris had driven from Sydney to compete in the tournament, and we are greatful to all those bowlers who travelled to support the event.
Chris, I hope the hundred helps a little toward covering your costs.

We are also greatful to the local contingent who supported the tournament, and hope to see all bowlers and more for next years tournament.

I would like to thank Barry and all the staff associated with running the tournament. It was smoothly run with almost no hiccups. Condition was very fair and the best bowler on the day won the event. For only 48 entries or so, it was good to see the tournament paying $100 for 17th through to 24th, almost 1:2, doesn't come much better than that. Good to see the sponsors backing the event for next year. Keep up the good work, look forward to bowling next year!
